Walkers Tours is a premiere Destination Management Company owned by Sri Lanka’s largest conglomerate John Keells Holdings PLC with five decades of experience in the FIT, GIT and MICE segments along with a large portfolio of Tour Operators spread globally.

We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of IT – Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will report to the Head of Business Solutions and will be based at the Corporate Office.

IT – Assistant Manager will be responsible for:

  • BCP Testing to be conducted bi-annually
  • Analyze and come up with solutions for business requirements thereby improving IT-related processes Improvements
  • Information security – Ensure the recommendations of the auditors on GDPR are implemented. 100% closure on the audit observations
  • Coordinating and supporting to implement B2B platform
  • Monitor Helpdesk and ensure that the response is provided within the given SLA
  • Coordinate with vendors and ensure smooth system operation
  • IT Training to be carried out when required.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Higher Diploma/Degree in IT
  • Knowledge in AZURE cloud Solution
  • Knowledge in networking and Infrastructure Maintenance
  • A minimum 2 years of Working Experience
  • Knowledge in Current Industry Trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with teams.
