Chief Technology Officer

Overview

AppSembler is a leading provider of immersive, hands-on learning experiences on behalf of leading technology companies like Redis, Chef, and Snowflake. We are searching for a CTO with a deep Python and Devops background, strong communication skills, and a love for interacting with customers!

This is a 100% remote position, with occasional travel to team events. You’ll have the opportunity to lead a seasoned and truly dedicated technical team, as well as make key technical hires.

Responsibilities

As the AppSembler CTO you’ll be responsible for making key technology decisions on behalf of the company, and serving as the primary technical representative and spokesperson.

You will also play a key role in enterprise sales conversations, as well as provide input and direction regarding the technical side of marketing efforts.

Qualifications

To hit the ground running you’ll need hands-on experience in the following areas:

  • Python and Django
  • Relational databases (we use MySQL and PostgreSQL)
  • Devops
  • Linux
  • Docker
  • Cloud environment experience (we use Google Cloud)

Benefits

$160,000 annual salary plus benefits.
