Junior HR Executive – Employee Engagement & Projects

Job Description:-

• Assisting with recruitment & onboarding program for new hires

• Assisting with the offboarding process of resigned employees

• Brainstorm, organize and initiate employee engagement activities & events in collaboration with HR & other departments

• Maintaining a good coordination & rapport with all departments and employees

• Assisting with the other local HR Projects

• Keep up to date with employee development/employee engagement methods & activities from similar industries

• Working with the regional HR team & assisting with various projects and initiatives

• Involving in adopting & implementing best practices communicated from the Global HR team

• Assisting the Head of HR & Talent & Development Manager to execute any other tasks or duties as required

Requirements:-

• Successfully completed GCE OLs & ALs

• Completed or following a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business Management or an equivalent Professional Qualification

• Prior experience in HR/Training/ Employee Development/ Employee Engagement & Wellbeing Activities & Events is a plus

• Excellent IT literacy skills (MS Office Packages – Word/PowerPoint/Excel)

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English & Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage)

• A great team player, people person, pleasant personality with enthusiasm, energy, dedication and integrity

• Ability to multitask, be flexible, prioritize and manage time effectively

• Ambitious, detailed & results oriented with a ‘can-do’ mindset and ready to learn on the job and take on challenges

• Creative eye is a must & a self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently exceed expectation

• Candidate should be able to work from Colombo
